Diversity, Equity and
Inclusion

We believe in the power of a People First culture — a culture where every team member feels valued and empowered to be their full self. That starts with creating an environment that's diverse, equitable and inclusive. By embracing the power of individuality and unique perspectives we are building a more connected culture where our team members and innovation thrive.

Diversity and inclusion make us stronger

Oshkosh Corporation believes everyone should be respected. We do not tolerate racism or discrimination in any form, a commitment underpinned by our core value to do the right thing. It’s also an important way we demonstrate another core value that we are better together.

We all bring unique backgrounds, skills, experiences and knowledge to the table, and we want you to be your unique self at Oshkosh. Our differences are worth celebrating and make us stronger. Creating a diverse and inclusive culture is not only the right thing to do, but it also accelerates innovation and ensures we can continue to better serve the everyday heroes that rely on our products to do their difficult, sometimes dangerous, work.

Your perspectives and uniqueness matter

We want every team member to be empowered to bring their unique self to work each day. With support from our Enterprise DE&I Council, we’re creating a culture that celebrates individuality and honors all experiences and perspectives. We’re doing this through programs and partnerships that broaden awareness around diversity and inclusion including an educational curriculum with a special focus on minimizing unconscious bias, fostering partnerships with external organizations like Hiring our Heroes and the Society of Women Engineers and supporting seven Employee Business Resource Groups, so team members can engage with others who share similar interests to foster a culture of belonging.

Driven to improve

Increasing diverse representation in leadership and across our organization is very important. Our 2026 goal is to reach 30% female representation and 15% Black, Indigenous and People of Color representation at the director level and above. We also have efforts underway to advance diversity, equity and inclusion across our company.

We're making great progress in our DE&I journey, and we still have work to do to ensure we build a diverse equitable and inclusive environment where team members can contribute their unique perspectives and ideas, build great careers and do their best work.

Employee Business Resource Groups

Oshkosh is home to a number of Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs) founded and led by team members. Our EBRGs are a critical part of our commitment to a more diverse and inclusive culture and allow our people to connect with other team members to foster a culture of belonging.
